Here’s my newest schooling update:
I am pleased to announce that I received an A in my Capstone class and a B+ in my New Testament class.

For this, my next and last semester for this degree, I’ll take an exegetical/advanced class in the New Testament focusing on the Book of Acts and retaking ‘Exploring Postcolonial Theories and Theologies.’

I absolutely loved the postcolonial class, but I was unable to finish it due to a debilitating illness toward the end of the pandemic a few years ago.
Because I’ve had to earn this degree at a slower pace than anticipated, I’ve had the privilege of being able to develop a deeper and wider understanding of theological disciplines as a scholar.
Postcolonial theology is among one of the four concentrations I’ve focused on in this long tenure in seminary.

While my research and scholarship revolve around the concepts of United Methodist theology, Christian Education, and Hermeneutics, Postcolonial theories serve as the anchor for my work and practice.
From what I understand, I am excited to share that I am scheduled to graduate in May. While the finish line approaches, I still need to get there- so your support and prayers are still appreciated. Once it becomes official, I’ll have that information available for anyone who cares to have it.
Anyway, here’s my update! Thank you all for believing in me.
